Moto q gmail setup

Marty Dahdal March 8, at am. I have an unlocked att smart phone Motorola moto q 9 h using it with t-mobile network. My g-mail account in the in box and out box are empty. I am able to send e-mail but does not kept record in the in box. I am not able to view any e-mail. Are there any specific programming to the phone so that g-mail works.
