One problem though I am having is, I don't have an internet connection to start on. Any suggestions there. Steps 1 - 3 are prefect. Everything seems good.

I figure it'd be fine anyways because it's just a comment. Then I added the line iface wlan0 inet dhcp on line 5 of the file. For more information, see interfaces 5 The primary network interface iface wlan0 inet dhcp And when I go to the Network Admin pannel. The wireless device is not there. The only thing is the modem device I know I don't have. I am completely lost. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

I also noticed that a newer version is up for ndiswrapper. Perhaps try that version, if you already have not. The link is here. There are also distro specific instructions on the ndiswrapper wiki page that may help. The link to the page is here. Yes, i use the source package ndiswrapper and compile it with my kernel 2. I've tested Marvel mrvc, cb55n5x. My system is Debian Testing, all updated, wireless-tools installed. Im working with Debian since 5 years.

So, you are using the source ndiswrapper package? What distro and version is this? Windows Software ThisIsWin11 1.
